About Radio Sligo
Radio Sligo started broadcasting in April 2020 to reach out to people who may have been experiencing mental health problems as a result of Covid-19. It is a fun online only and primarily music based radio station run by volunteers who like to communicate to their audience with music from the last 5 decades with their own slant of banter in between. In our first month we have raised over €800 for Pieta House whilst still learning the ins and outs of social media and their workings.
We would love to continue broadcasting and at the same time build our roster of presenters as well as our audience and bring the wider community of Sligo people worldwide together.
