Smorgasbord is a type of Scandinavian meal served buffet-style with multiple dishes of various foods on a table (click here for the full article on wikipedia). The term is also used as a metaphor to indicate any diverse group. I used this name for this radio station because the intention is to serve a diverse mix of music.
